Woman JDU Leader Thrashed, Paraded With Slippers By Party Colleague In Bihar

A dispute with a celebration colleague over not being invited to an occasion has led to a district president of the ladies’s cell of the ruling Janata Dal United in Bihar being thrashed and paraded with slippers round her neck. 

The lady was allegedly overwhelmed up so badly by her JDU colleague – a ward councillor – and his supporters that she needed to be hospitalised. The ward councillor has been taken into custody and a video of the incident is being broadly circulated. 

Police officers mentioned a JDU programme had been organised in Bairgania block of Sitamarhi district on Wednesday however Kamini Patel, who’s the district president of the ladies’s cell of the get together, was not invited. This led to a number of dialogue on Fb and a few feedback had been made by Ms Patel and another folks. 

On Thursday morning, Ms Patel reached the home of Ward Councillor Sanjay Singh to debate the problem and a heated argument broke out between them. Ms Patel, officers mentioned, was then surrounded by the ward councillor’s supporters and overwhelmed up. She was then made to put on a garland of slippers, known as a thief and paraded on the streets close to the ward councillor’s home. 

Movies confirmed Ms Patel with a swollen face, bruises on her physique and slippers round her neck. She was taken to a neighborhood hospital in an unconscious state after which referred to a healthcare facility in Muzaffarpur.

Superintendent of Police, Sitamarhi, Manoj Kumar Tiwari, mentioned, “We’ve got taken motion and Ward Councillor Sanjay Singh has been taken into custody. It seems to be a dispute over some feedback made on Fb.”
