AGRA: A lady activist from a right-wing outfit was arrested for performing a water ritual and hoisting a saffron flag on the Taj Mahal, claiming the monument was once a Shiva temple, on the third Monday of Sawan.
Meera Rathore, related to Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha (ABHM), was detained by the Central Industrial Safety Drive (CISF). “She is being questioned. We are attempting to determine the one that recorded her movies. We are going to hand her over to the police and lodge a proper criticism in regards to the incident,” a senior CISF official stated.
On the time of submitting this report, the CISF had not handed over the ABHM employee to the police. “Thus far, we have now not obtained any criticism nor has the CISF handed over anybody to us,” Tajganj SHO Jasveer Singh stated. Two days earlier, two people from the identical organisation had been arrested and jailed for allegedly performing the same ritual on the Unesco World Heritage Website.
