AGRA: A girl activist from a right-wing outfit was arrested for performing a water ritual and hoisting a saffron flag on the Taj Mahal, claiming the monument was a Shiva temple, on the third Monday of Sawan.
Meera Rathore, related to Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha (ABHM), was detained by the Central Industrial Safety Pressure (CISF). “She is being questioned.We are attempting to determine the one who recorded her movies. We are going to hand her over to the police and lodge a proper grievance in regards to the incident,” a senior CISF official mentioned.
On the time of submitting this report, the CISF had not handed over the ABHM employee to the police. “To date, we now have not obtained any grievance nor has the CISF handed over anybody to us,” Tajganj SHO Jasveer Singh mentioned. Two days earlier, two people from the identical organisation have been arrested and jailed for allegedly performing the same ritual on the Unesco World Heritage Website.
