With 4 golds, India posts best show at maths olympiad – Times of India



MUMBAI: The Indian crew of six highschool college students has achieved a historic feat on the Worldwide Arithmetic Olympiad (IMO) 2024, securing the perfect ever efficiency since India’s debut in 1989.
Rushil Mathur, Ananda Bhaduri, Adhitya Ganesh, and Kanav Talwar clinched 4 gold medals for India, whereas Arjun Gupta secured a silver medal and Siddharth Choppara obtained an honourable point out.
The crew, led by Professor Krishnan Sivasubramanian (IIT-Bombay) and Rijul Saini (former IMO medallist; from Homi Bhabha Centre For Science Schooling, or HBCSE) because the deputy chief, completed fourth amongst 108 taking part nations, with over 609 college students within the competitors.
