Two blasts near Israel embassy in Denmark; probe initiated – Times of India



Police on Wednesday stated that they’ve launched “preliminary investigations” into two explosions that passed off close to the Israeli embassy in Copenhagen, in Denmark.
“On the premise of two explosions, we’re current within the Strandagervej/Lundevangsvej space. Nobody has been injured, and we’re finishing up the preliminary investigations on the scene. A potential connection to the Israeli Embassy, positioned within the space, is being investigated,” the police stated in a put up on X.
“We’re at the moment receiving quite a lot of calls that we’re unable to reply,” the police added.
No people had been injured within the blasts, which passed off in a single day within the “rapid proximity”, a police spokesperson Jakob Hansen instructed AFP, including that “It is too early to say if there’s a hyperlink” between the explosions and the Israeli diplomatic mission.
The Israeli embassy is located amongst varied different international missions, together with these of Iran, Thailand, Turkey, and Romania, all of that are positioned within the prosperous suburb of Hellerup, north of Copenhagen.
The explosions occurred amidst escalating tensions within the Center East, with Iran launching a volley of missiles into Israeli territory and Israel pledging to make Iran face penalties for the assault.
