BHOPAL: Three sisters, aged between 6 and 9 years, drowned in a shallow water pit within the yard of their home whereas immersing an ‘idol’ that they had made on Nag Panchami in Rewa district on Friday. Sonali, 9, Tanvi, 7, and Jahnvi, 6, daughters of Rajkumar Rajak, had not advised their mother and father that they have been going to immerse the idol, or they’d have absolutely stopped them, sarpanch of Tamara village, Pankaj Singh, advised TOI.
