Tata Electronics, an entirely owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd, stated it had accomplished the Definitive Settlement with Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (PSMC) of Taiwan in the direction of establishing semiconductor manufacturing services (aka fabs) in India.

As per the settlement, PSMC will present design and building help to construct India’s first AI-enabled greenfield fab in Gujarat, license a broad portfolio of applied sciences and supply engineering help to efficiently switch licensed applied sciences to the Gujarat fab.
