NEW DELHI: Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah has come out in assist of his spouse Parvati’s choice to give up 14 compensation plots to the Mysore City Improvement Authority (MUDA) amidst the continued land allotment controversy.

Parvathi Siddaramaiah’s choice to give up the plots comes after the Enforcement Directorate booked Siddaramaiah, Parvathi, and others in a cash laundering case linked to the MUDA land case, following a latest Lokayukta FIR.
In her letter to MUDA, Parvathi requested the cancellation of the deeds of 14 plots executed in her favor and handed over the possession of the plots again to the authority.
Siddaramaiah has defended his actions, sustaining that he has executed no mistaken and that the opposition is concentrating on him out of worry. He has vowed to battle the case legally and reiterated that he won’t resign over the matter.
