SpaceX and Nasa schedule Crew-9 mission next month – Times of India

SpaceX and Nasa have introduced their intention to launch the Crew-9 mission to the Worldwide House Station (ISS) no prior to August 18. This announcement follows the Federal Aviation Administration‘s choice to permit SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket to renew area missions after a uncommon mid-flight failure earlier this month had briefly grounded the rocket.
The Falcon 9, which is essentially the most continuously used rocket on the earth, was grounded after one rocket broke aside in area, ensuing within the lack of its payload of Starlink satellites. This incident marked the primary failure in over seven years for a rocket that’s extensively relied upon by the worldwide area trade.
The upcoming Crew-9 mission would be the ninth crew rotation mission to the ISS carried out by Nasa and SpaceX.
The mission will embrace Nasa astronauts Zena Cardman, Nick Hague, Stephanie Wilson, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Gorbunov. They are going to be launched aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, which can be propelled by a Falcon 9 rocket.
