Senvion bags 210 MW wind turbine generator order from Continuum Green Energy – Times of India



NEW DELHI: Senvion India on Thursday stated it has secured an order to provide 50 wind turbine turbines (WTGs) totalling 210 MW from Continuum Inexperienced Vitality. The challenge is scheduled for deployment in both Gujarat or Karnataka, with deliveries starting in April 2026, in accordance with a press release.
Along with the preliminary 50 WTGs, the settlement permits for a rise of as much as 50 items, it said.
The challenge contains set up of Senvion’s superior 4.2M160 generators, which combine cutting-edge applied sciences for accuracy in management and optimisation, extending the turbine’s life considerably and decreasing operational prices.
“With over 85 per cent localisation in our generators, we’re dedicated to contributing to the expansion of renewable power in India and creating native jobs,” stated Amit Kansal, CEO and Managing Director of Senvion India.
The 4.2M160 turbine is predicted to considerably improve the effectivity and efficiency of Continuum’s wind power tasks, Jamal Wadi, Chairman of Senvion India, stated.
