SC bins ‘end superstitions’ PIL, says we don’t have antidote to all evils | India News – Times of India




The Supreme Courtroom of India, led by CJI D Y Chandrachud, criticised a petitioner for submitting a Public Curiosity Litigation (PIL) to eradicate superstitions and promote scientific mood. The court docket emphasised that such issues fall beneath the area of academic coverage specialists and can’t be mandated by judicial orders. The petition was subsequently withdrawn.
