NAVI MUMBAI: A 16-year-old faculty boy died after he allegedly shot himself within the head along with his father’s licenced rifle at his residence in Mahad, Raigad district on Thursday afternoon. Prima facie, an unintended dying case has been registered at Mahad metropolis police station.
Police mentioned that the deceased has been recognized as Suyash Nagarkar, who was a Class 10 scholar.The boy’s father Sunil Nagarkar is a goldsmith who operates a retailer from the bottom ground of a three-storeyed constructing owned by him and his two brothers. Round 12.30 pm, whereas Nagarkar and his spouse had been on the store, his son Suyash shot himself within the head. Upon listening to the firing shot, the couple rushed upstairs and located Suyash mendacity in a pool of blood. The rifle was discovered subsequent to him.
