BAREILLY: A 20-year-old nurse, who was on evening obligation at a non-public hospital in Moradabad, was raped by a physician who runs the power and “helped” by a ward boy and one other nurse within the crime, police stated. The survivor, a Dalit, is a resident of a village underneath Dilari limits and works on the hospital in Thakurdwara.
Extra SP (Moradabad) Sandeep Kumar Meena stated, “Dr Mohd Shahnawaz raped a feminine employees within the hospital, as per the grievance.Shahnawaz and two others have been charged underneath BNS sections 61-2 (legal conspiracy), 64 (rape), 351-2 (threatening one other by any means) and 127-2 (wrongful confinement) together with SC/ST Act.”
“All three accused have been arrested on Monday and the hospital was sealed to gather proof. Probe is on and nobody will likely be spared.”

In her grievance, the survivor alleged she was on evening obligation on Saturday when the crime came about. She stated when ward boy Junaid requested her to go to the cabin of Shanawaz, she refused. Later, one other nurse took her to the cabin by drive and locked her there. She stated the physician requested her to stay quiet after the assault within the cabin and even supplied her cash.
The survivor, within the grievance, has additionally stated that she was not allowed to depart the hospital premises till Sunday morning. After returning dwelling, she narrated her ordeal to her household, and later went to a police station together with her father to file a grievance. A police group was deployed on the hospital on Monday as a number of right-wing activists demanded that the “well being facility be demolished”.
