NIA raids 7 places in Reasi bus attack case | India News – Times of India



JAMMU: Jammu: The Nationwide Investigation Company (NIA) on Friday raided seven locations in Reasi and Rajouri districts of J&Okay as a part of its probe into the lethal terror attack on a bus carrying pilgrims coming back from Shiv Khori temple to Katra on June 9.
Officers mentioned native police and CRPF assisted the NIA groups throughout the raids on the places linked to hybrid terrorists and over-ground staff.
9 individuals, together with seven pilgrims have been killed and 41 others have been injured when terrorists opened fireplace on the bus at Higher Kanda-Teryath in Pouni space of Reasi district.
Initially, The Resistance Entrance and Folks’s Anti-Facist Power (PAFF), offshoots of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed, respectively, claimed accountability for the assault. Following widespread condemnation of the assault on harmless civilians, they later retracted.
The investigation was handed over to the NIA on June 17.
On June 19, police arrested one Hakam Din (45), a resident of Rajouri district, for facilitating and guiding terrorists to the spot. Based mostly on info supplied by him, NIA had carried out raids at a number of places in Rajouri district on June 30.
