MUMBAI: Demolition of unauthorised parts of the Subhani mosque positioned on Dharavi’s 90 toes highway in Mumbai was began by the mosque authorities on Monday.
BMC’s G-North ward had initiated motion to hold out demolition of unauthorised elements of the mosque on September 21 which needed to be stopped after the trustees had sought 4 to 5 days’ time to take away the unlawful extensions on their very own.
Former BJP MP Kirit Somaiyya took to X (previously twitter) sharing pictures of the demolition.

Dharavi police had arrested three individuals for vandalising a BMC car and obstructing visitors close to Shamiana Junction on 90 Ft Street on the morning of September 21 when BMC had visited the positioning to take motion.
They allegedly threw stones at a BMC car, breaking its entrance windshield, sat on the highway blocking visitors.
Subsequently, a case was registered invoking a number of sections of the IPC, Maharashtra Police Act, Prevention of Injury to Public Property Act, and Part 7 of the Legal Modification Act.
