Manipur under siege: Rockets fired from Churachandpur hills, bomb attack reported in Bishnupur district | Imphal News – Times of India



IMPHAL: Suspected militants carried out a recent bomb assault in Manipur‘s Bishnupur district on Friday morning, damaging no less than two constructions, police reported.
The attackers launched rockets from excessive floor within the adjoining hill areas of Churachandpur district, concentrating on the residential space of Tronglaobi, located roughly 45km from Imphal, the state capital.Police estimated that the rockets traveled a distance of over 3km.
Regardless of the assault, no casualties have been reported. Nonetheless, the bombing resulted in harm to a neighborhood corridor and a vacant room within the space, as confirmed by the police.
Moreover, the suspected militants opened fireplace on Bishnupur district, resulting in an alternate of gunfire with safety forces who responded to the assault.
