‘Lends support to terrorists’: Israel bars entry of UN chief over Iran attack response – Times of India

Israel declared UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres “persona non grata” on Wednesday, banning him from getting into the nation for his failure to “unequivocally condemn” Iran‘s large missile assault on Israel.
“Anybody who can’t unequivocally condemn Iran’s heinous assault on Israel doesn’t should step foot on Israeli soil,” Israel’s overseas minister Israel Katz mentioned in an announcement.
“It is a secretary-general who has but to denounce the bloodbath and sexual atrocities dedicated by Hamas murderers on October 7, nor has he led any efforts to declare them a terrorist group,” the overseas minister added.
