A 19-year-old girl was murdered allegedly by her husband in a combat that they had hours after they tied the knot in Kolar Gold Fields taluk Wednesday. The sufferer is Likitha, and her husband, Naveen, 27, sustained crucial accidents and is battling for all times.
The incident occurred at Chambarasanahalli village in Andersonpet police limits of KGF round 6pm.
In line with KGF SP Shantharaju, the couple obtained their marriage solemnised at a kalyana mantap in Chambarasanahalli village within the morning. After the ceremony, the couple spent a while with their kinfolk. Later within the day, Naveen is claimed to have taken Likitha and her dad and mom to his uncle’s home within the village, the place they got refreshments.
Naveen’s niece is claimed to have served them the refreshments and went exterior the room the place the couple was sitting. Naveen reportedly closed the room from inside. Minutes later, Naveen’s niece heard screams from the room and when she appeared from the window, she is claimed to have seen Naveen attacking Likitha with a machete. The niece raised an alarm and Likitha’s dad and mom tried in useless to open the door of the room.
Babu, a relative, forcibly opened the door and located Likitha mendacity in a pool of blood, whereas Naveen was mendacity on the ground with accidents.
SP Shantharaju stated police are investigating all of the angles of the incident, together with the motive for the homicide, and the way Naveen obtained the machete at his uncle’s home.
