NEW DELHI: In what might significantly escalate tensions within the Center East, Israel on Tuesday confirmed that it has carried out an airstrike in Lebanon‘s capital Beirut.
As per a Reuters report, a senior Lebanese safety supply confirmed the assault, including that the commander’s destiny remained unclear.

In line with the Israeli army, the strike focused a Hezbollah commander who was allegedly behind the lethal rocket within the contested Golan Heights wherein round 12 youths have been killed.
A loud blast was heard and a plume of smoke could possibly be seen rising above the southern suburbs – a stronghold of Lebanese armed group Hezbollah – at round 1640 GMT, a Reuters witness mentioned.
Lebanon’s state-run nationwide information company mentioned an Israeli strike had focused the realm round Hezbollah’s Shura Council within the Haret Hreik neighbourhood of the capital.
Beirut has been on edge for days forward of an anticipated Israeli assault in retaliation for a strike on the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights that killed a dozen children.
Israel and the USA have blamed Hezbollah for the assault. Hezbollah has denied accountability.
