The Bund Backyard police registered a case of obstructing public servants, intentional insult and felony intimidation in opposition to probationary IAS officer Puja Khedkar’s father, Dilip Khedkar, based mostly on a grievance lodged by a tehsildar on the Pune district collector’s workplace. Dilip Khedkar retired in 2023 as a regional officer with MPCB.
On June 12 and 13, he accompanied Puja to the collector’s workplace and resorted to “objectionable conduct” with staffers for not arranging her a cabin after she was appointed an assistant collector on June 3.Although TOI tried to contact Dilip Khedkar, his telephone was discovered switched off whereas textual content messages remained unanswered until the time of going to press.
In the meantime, town police revoked the firearm licence issued to Puja’s mom, Manorama Khedkar, high cop Amitesh Kumar mentioned.
