India’s defence co ties up with Boeing firm for co-production of USV systems | India News – Times of India



NEW DELHI: An Indian defence firm, Sagar Defence Engineering, on Tuesday introduced a partnership with Boeing firm Liquid Robotics for the co-development and co-production of scaled uncrewed floor automobile (USV) methods. India’s defence ministry and the White Home had earlier introduced this newly-formed defence industrial partnership, which helps the US-India Defence Industrial Cooperation roadmap and can strengthen undersea area consciousness (UDA) and maritime safety for India, US and their international companions.
Sagar Defence and Liquid Robotics will collectively pursue co-development of options and large-scale co-production of USV methods for undersea area consciousness for the Indian Navy.The partnership leverages experience from each corporations and is predicted to yield co-produced USVs as early as 2025, an organization assertion stated.
