NEW DELHI: Holding with its first responder dedication in humanitarian crises, India has dispatched the primary tranche of 21 tonne reduction materials inside hours of receiving of a request from hurricane Yagi-hit Myanmar, authorities stated on Tuesday.
Indian Navy‘s INS Satpura, carrying HADR pallets with tents, generator units, ready-to-eat meals, kitchen units, photo voltaic lamps, medical provides, mosquito nets and repellents, water purification tablets and disinfectants, and different materials, was dispatched Monday to Yangon, it stated.
