NEW DELHI: Within the first lot of official lodging for ministers within the Lutyens’ Delhi, 4 cupboard ministers from BJP allies have been allotted bungalows falling beneath the largest class of type-VIII.
Whereas civil aviation minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu from TDP has been allotted 22, Akbar Street, heavy industries minister H D Kumaraswamy from JD(S) has been allotted 6, Kushak Street, sources stated.
Equally, meals processing minister from LJP (Ram Vilas) Chirag Paswan and HAM chief and MSME minister Jitan Ram Manjhi hav acquired 1, Sunehri Bagh and 7B, Janpath respectively. Former Haryana chief minister and housing minister Manohar Lal has been allotted 3, Krishna Menon Marg, which was once the official residence of former agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar.
All cupboard ministers are eligible for the highest class of bungalows. The housing and concrete affairs ministry, which manages lodging beneath ‘normal pool’ class, allocates lodging to all ministers within the Lutyens’ Bungalow Zone (LBZ).
