THANE: A gasoline leak was reported late Thursday evening at a chemical firm in Ambarnath’s Morivali MIDC within the district of Thane in Maharashtra. Following the incident, residents of Morivali MIDC and surrounding areas complained of eye irritation and issue in respiration.
After getting details about the incident, the fireplace brigade staff reached the spot and began investigating.Because of the gasoline leakage, there’s a haze in the complete space. The incident is claimed to have occurred round 11.15 pm.
Speaking to TOI, Bhagwat Sonawane, chief hearth officer of Ambernath Fireplace Brigade, confirmed the gasoline leakage from an organization, saying, “We have now reached the spot and now the leakage has diminished.”
