NEW DELHI: The Indian embassy in Beirut issued an advisory on Thursday cautioning Indian residents residing in Lebanon amid the latest escalation within the Center East following the killing of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh by Israeli forces.
Advising towards non-essential journey to Lebanon, the embassy stated, “In view of the latest escalations within the area, Indian nationals are suggested to keep away from all non-essential journey to Lebanon.”
“All Indian nationals in Lebanon are suggested to train warning, limit their actions, and stay in touch with the Embassy of India in Beirut via their e-mail: cons.beirut@mea.gov.in or the emergency cellphone quantity +96176860128,” it added.
