A video of a highway upkeep pickup truck of the Pune Municipal Company rushing in reverse with no driver in sight has gone viral on social media platforms.
The video exhibiting the ‘driverless’ car dangerously rushing backwards on an empty highway has raised highway security considerations.
The footage, recorded round 11.45pm on the Vaiduwadi flyover, exhibits the car marked “Pune Municipal Company” shifting dangerously in reverse with none driver.
Since there was little site visitors at the moment, a main accident was averted.
The out-of-control pickup truck ultimately stopped after hitting a highway divider, which restricted the injury and prevented accidents.
The explanation for the car’s erratic conduct continues to be unknown.
