Don’t politicise RG Kar incident, SC tells Tushar Mehta and Sibal | India News – Times of India

Mehta stated, “This allegation (about his Swiss checking account) was began by his current shopper (Arvind Kejriwal) when he was not the chief minister of Delhi.” This drew peels of laughter from the attorneys crowding the courtroom.
Later, when the courtroom was apprised of the threats being given to resident docs at R G Kar Medical School & Hospital, Mehta stated there’s something severe taking place. “A minister has just about threatened that if anybody factors a finger on the CM (Mamata Banerjee), their finger could be damaged,” he stated. Sibal stated, “What in regards to the assertion of the chief of opposition (Suvendu Adhikari) who says ‘bullets will fly’?”
The bench requested each Mehta and Sibal to not politicise the matter and requested each the CBI and Kolkata Police to submit their standing experiences on Sep 5 on the investigations into the rape-murder of the physician and the vandalism on the hospital on Aug 14 evening, respectively.
