On Monday, DMK and chief minister Stalin, who’ve opposed the Nationwide Training Coverage (NEP) since its introduction, shared a report on X criticising the Centre for slicing Samagra Shiksha funds to states that resisted the coverage. Stalin condemned this motion, stating that penalising well-performing states for not adopting the NEP, whereas rewarding others, weakens efforts to make sure high quality schooling and equity.
