NEW DELHI: Reacting strongly over the Hathras stampede incident which claimed 121 lives at an occasion held by ‘Bhole Baba’ alias Surajpal Singh, Uttar Pradesh governor Anandiben Patel on Friday urged people who they need to not take pleasure in show of blind religion.

Upon arriving at his Kasganj ashram from Mainpuri along with his spouse and lawyer, he addressed the media, saying, “Who can keep away from the inevitable? Everybody who comes into this world should go away sometime.”
Bhole Baba then shifted the main target, suggesting a conspiracy in opposition to him. “Our counsel, A P Singh, and eyewitnesses reported {that a} toxic gasoline was sprayed on the gathering. This means a plot to wreck my popularity,” he alleged.
