Delhi Police busts al-Qaida terror module, 14 people detained from 3 states | Delhi News – Times of India



NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police introduced on Thursday that they’ve dismantled an Al Qaeda terror module, detaining 14 folks from Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
This operation stemmed from intelligence inputs and was carried out in collaboration with state police forces.
In response to a Delhi Police assertion, “The module, as per present state of operations, was being led by one Dr.Ishtiyaq of Ranchi (Jharkhand) and it was aspiring to declare ‘khilafat’ and execute critical terrorist actions throughout the nation.”
The detained people had obtained coaching in varied places, together with weapon dealing with.
The police assertion specified that six folks have been detained from Bhiwadi in Rajasthan whereas present process weapons coaching. A further eight people have been held from Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh for questioning.
All 14 detainees are presently being interrogated and extra detentions are anticipated.
