Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday (September 19, 2024) launched the A.P. Sand Administration System (APSMS) and a web-based portal thereof. The system is in pursuit of the Authorities’s Free Sand Coverage launched on July 8, 2024, the place sand is sought to be provided to customers by solely charging the price of operations, statutory levies and taxes.
In keeping with an official launch, the APSMS helps in bettering the effectiveness of the above coverage by offering end-to-end digital options to the customers, from the reserving of sand until its supply.
The portal facilitates ease of reserving sand on-line and helps streamline the operations by way of designated supply slots, issuing of e-permits/way-bills, transportation at minimal value, and strengthening vigilance mechanisms.
