China test-fires intercontinental ballistic missile into Pacific Ocean – Times of India



China’s defence ministry stated on Wednesday that its Individuals Liberation Military (PLA) has efficiently launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) into the Pacific Ocean.
The ministry stated the launch was “not directed at any nation or goal and in keeping with worldwide legislation“, reported information company Reuters.
The intercontinental ballistic missiles have a spread larger than 5,000 km and are able to carrying a nuclear warhead.
