Centre reconstitutes Niti Aayog; Shivraj Singh Chauhan appointed as ex officio member | India News – Times of India



NEW DELHI: The Central authorities on Tuesday re-organised the composition of the Niti Aayog and inducted representatives from the ally events of the Nationwide Democratic Alliance. Whereas Prime Minister Narendra Modi stays the chairperson of the Aayog, there are not any modifications within the submit of Vice Chairman and different full-time members.
Minister of agriculture and farmers welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan is the brand new ex officio member, whereas HD Kumaraswamy and Jagat Prakash Naddare new members after their inclusion within the Union Cupboard.
“In continuation of Cupboard Secretariat notification… the Prime Minister has authorised the revised composition of NITI Aayog,” a notification from the Rashtrapati Bhawan stated.
