CBI books former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh over alleged BJP leaders frame-up | India News – Times of India



NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday has registered a case towards former Maharashtra dwelling minister and senior NCP (SP) chief Anil Deshmukh, accusing him of making an attempt to border BJP leaders in false circumstances, in response to the officers.
Nevertheless, NCP (SP) chief Anil Deshmukh dismissed the CBI’s allegations as “baseless,” attributing the “conspiracy” towards him to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s alleged panic.
Deshmukh is already below investigation by the CBI for corruption prices and can be going through a case filed by the Enforcement Directorate.
Deshmukh stated, “One other baseless case has been filed towards me by the CBI. This conspiracy has arisen as a result of Fadnavis is panicking after witnessing the folks’s mandate. I’m not intimidated by such threats and stress.”
He additionally identified his dedication to opposing what he describes because the BJP’s “repressive rule,” urging folks to replicate on Fadnavis’s alleged “perverse and low-level” politics.
Deshmukh stated that voters had already held the BJP accountable within the Lok Sabha elections and expressed comparable anticipation for BJP’s efficiency within the upcoming meeting polls.
