BJP expels ex-minister, 7 other rebels in Haryana – Times of India

CHANDIGARH: Former Haryana minister Ranjit Singh Chautala and 7 different leaders had been expelled by BJP for six years on Sunday, after they determined to contest the October 5 Meeting polls as unbiased candidates.
Haryana BJP stated its chief Mohan Lal Badoli had expelled the leaders with quick impact.
Moreover Chautala, Sandeep Garg (contesting the polls from Ladwa), Zile Ram Sharma (Assandh), Devender Kadian (Ganaur), Bachan Singh Arya (Safidon), Radha Ahlawat (Meham), Naveen Goel (Gurugram) and Kehar Singh Rawat (Hathin) had been expelled.
Chautala determined to give up BJP after he was denied the ballot ticket from Rania, the seat he represented within the meeting when he was an unbiased MLA. The 90-member Haryana meeting is scheduled to go to polls on Oct 5 and the counting of votes will likely be on October 8.
