Public sector lender Financial institution of Baroda (BoB) on Friday opened a ‘phygital’ department at Chanda Nagar in Hyderabad. 

Phygital branches merge the familiarity of brick-and-mortar institutions with the effectivity of cutting-edge expertise, the lender stated in a launch on Govt Director Sanjay Vinayak Mudaliar inaugurating the department.

That is the second such facility of the financial institution within the nation. BoB opened its first phygital department on July 20 at Horniman Circle in Mumbai on the event of the lender’s 117th basis day. It’s focusing on to unveil seven such branches as a part of a pilot challenge.
