LUCKNOW: A five-year-old woman sleeping in her home in Girdharpurwa village of Uttar Pradesh‘s Bahraich district was injured in a wolf assault early Tuesday, a day after wolves killed a two-and-a-half-year-old woman and injured two girls in back-to-back strikes in lower than 24 hours Monday.
This was the third wolf assault within the area previously three days. Forest division officers have caught 4 wolves to this point.Officers mentioned a pack of wolves has been attacking villagers, particularly youngsters, within the area. As many as 9 folks, together with eight youngsters, have been killed and 20 others injured in wolf assaults within the area since March.
Gonda divisional commissioner Shashi Bhushan Lal Sushil mentioned a 100-member new workforce of forest personnel has been deployed in Bahraich.
