BHOPAL: MP forest division is aflutter after preliminary postmortem of a tiger revealed 4 holes in its cranium, indicating gunshot accidents, reviews P Naveen.
The cranium has been despatched for ballistics checks. The carcass was discovered on July 14 in Ratapani wildlife sanctuary . Three of its paws and three canines have been lacking. The cranium was discovered the following day, and instantly there was suspicion it had been shot by poachers.
On July 20, two suspects have been arrested and two weapons have been seized . They haven’t been charged with the tiger’s loss of life but. An evaluation of the tiger’s wounds present a number of ‘penetrating head trauma’.
