Reacting for the primary time because the Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI) passed its final order in the Reliance Home Finance Ltd (RHFL) case, a spokesperson for Anil Ambani, chairman, Reliance ADA Group stated “Mr. Ambani is reviewing the Last Order dated 22 August 2024 handed by SEBI within the stated matter and can take acceptable subsequent steps as legally suggested.”
“Mr. Ambani had resigned from the board of administrators of Reliance Infrastructure Ltd and Reliance Energy Ltd pursuant to SEBI’s interim order dated 11 February 2022 within the matter of RHFL, and is in compliance with the stated interim order for the final two and a half years,” the assertion added.
In separate statements Reliance Infrastructure Ltd and Reliance Energy Ltd said that they have been not noticees or events to the proceedings earlier than SEBI wherein the Order had been handed.
No instructions got within the Order towards each the businesses.
As per the statements Mr. Anil Ambani had resigned from the board of administrators of Reliance Infrastructure Ltd and Reliance Energy Ltd pursuant to the interim order dated February 11, 2022 handed by SEBI in the identical proceedings.
Subsequently, the Order dated August 22, 2024 handed by the SEBI has no bearing in any respect on the enterprise and affairs of each the businesses.
