DIVITIPALLY: Battery maker Amara Raja Group, which has entered the race to arrange India’s first gigafactory after gamers like Ola and Exide, is trying to arrange a 6-million items each year lead acid battery plant in North India. That is a part of efforts to de-risk the enterprise and cater to markets in North and West India higher, Group chairman Jayadev Galla stated on the inauguration of its 1.5GWh Li-ion battery plant and groundbreaking of its buyer qualification plant for cell manufacturing on Saturday.TNN
