NEW DELHI: Airtel has made an early cost of Rs 8,465 crore to DoT to clear a portion of excellent spectrum dues from 2016 public sale. The transfer comes weeks after Airtel and Vodafone Concept misplaced a healing petition in SC over adjusted gross income judgement, that may see the businesses pay 1000’s of crore of rupees to DoT until FY31-end. The spectrum public sale in 2016 had seen Airtel purchase airwave rights for over Rs 14,000 crore.
