Addressing a roadshow in Haryana’s Ambala, Rahul Gandhi vehemently criticised the BJP for rolling out the Agnipath scheme which the Congress scion stated would “strip” the Agniveers (candidates enrolled below Agnipath scheme) of pension solely to “profit” industrialist Gautam Adani.
Rahul Gandhi stated Agniveers “shouldn’t be in false impression” because the scheme is barely the mechanism to “steal away” their pension.
