AGARTALA: A 62-year-old girl was tied to a tree and allegedly set on fireplace by her two sons in West Tripura, officers stated on Sunday.
The police have taken each sons into custody and consider a household dispute might have been the motive behind the brutal homicide.
The incident, which occurred on Saturday evening in Khamarbari underneath the Champaknagar police station space, is believed to have stemmed from a household dispute.
The lady, who had been residing together with her two sons after the loss of life of her husband a couple of 12 months and a half in the past, was discovered by police after they obtained a tip-off.
