As many as 19 members of the Christian group, together with 11 girls, have been arrested in Bihar’s Kaimur district for distributing non secular literature amongst college students of two government-run colleges with out taking permission from the headmasters involved.
Police stated 17 of the arrested individuals have been from Telangana. Three four-wheelers, a motorbike and spiritual literature, together with Bibles, photographs and pamphlets, have been seized from them.The arrests have been made after a grievance by the headmaster of a college in Nibiya village.
The arrested individuals have been produced earlier than a CJM court docket in Bhabua and remanded in judicial custody on expenses of trespassing, obstructing govt work and propagating faith in an unlawful method, the SDPO stated.
