Tirupati laddu row: YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy cancels trip to Tirumala N Chandrababu Naidu | Vijayawada News – Times of India



YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy cancelled his Tirumala go to amid a police crackdown on social gathering leaders and rising safety issues. VIJAYWADA: Amid a large crackdown on his social gathering leaders by the Andhra Pradesh police, YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday cancelled his deliberate go to to Tirumala for darshan of Lord Venkateswara.
Jagan was scheduled to succeed in Tirumala on Friday evening and go to the temple for darshan on Saturday.
Hours earlier than his departure from Tadepalle to Tirupati, Jagan determined to cancel his journey amid rising calls for for giving ‘declaration of religion’ and safety issues.
The YSRCP chief had stated he would go to the temple as a part of the statewide temple rituals referred to as for by the social gathering to atone for the ‘sin’ allegedly dedicated by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu by his allegations on Tirupati laddus.
YSRCP had alleged that the state police, beneath orders from Chandrababu Naidu and minister Nara Lokesh, have issued warnings to YSRCP leaders forward of Reddy’s go to, instructing them to not take part.
