VIJAYAWADA: YSRCP president and former chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Wednesday urged individuals throughout the state to supply poojas in temples on Saturday (Sep 28) to “restore the sanctity” of Tirumala, which he alleged has been tarnished by CM N Chandrababu Naidu.
Taking to social media platform X, Jagan urged individuals to counter the “false claims and misinformation” being unfold by Naidu about alleged adulteration of Tirumala’s sacred laddu prasadam with animal fats.
“The sanctity of Tirumala, significance of Swami’s prasadam, glory of Lord Venkateswara, fame of TTD, and sacredness of Lord Venkateswara’s laddu prasadam have been all defiled by Chandrababu Naidu, who, with political malice, intentionally unfold lies the prasadam was adulterated with animal fats and that devotees had consumed such tainted prasadam.
To be able to cleanse this sin dedicated by Chandrababu Naidu, the YSRCP is asking for participation in poojas throughout temples statewide on Saturday,” stated Jagan.
