NEW DELHI: A lady touring from Noida to Ghaziabad on her scooter was thrown towards the bottom of a flyover pillar after being hit by a automotive in Noida’s Sector 25 on Saturday.
The incident occurred beneath the jurisdiction of Sector 20 police station, leaving the woman stranded on the elevated construction till two passersby and a police rescue group arrived to help.
ADCP Manish Kumar Mishra stated, “A lady was going from Noida in the direction of Ghaziabad when her scooter met with an accident, and he or she landed on the pillar’s base. Police and fireplace rescue groups reached the spot instantly. The woman was rescued safely and despatched to the hospital. Two males who had been making an attempt to rescue her had been additionally helped down and brought to the hospital. The automobile, a WagonR, has been impounded.”
One of many rescuers, Janarul, recounted the second, saying, “We noticed the woman falling and got here to her rescue. Police saved us; they known as an ambulance.”
The police are investigating the incident and plan to query the woman as soon as her situation stabilizes.
