Hospital, 2 doctors to pay woman Rs 5 lakh for needle left in spine 20 yrs ago | India News – Times of India



BENGALURU: Karnataka’s shopper discussion board has ordered a Bengaluru hospital and two medical doctors to pay a girl over Rs 5 lakh as compensation for a botched 2004 surgical procedure throughout which a 3.2cm surgical needle was left behind in her backbone, experiences Vindhya Pabolu.
The needle had prompted 46-year-old Padmavathi excessive belly ache, backache and trauma for over six years until it was eliminated at one other hospital.
