BENGALURU: Karnataka’s shopper discussion board has ordered a Bengaluru hospital and two medical doctors to pay a girl over Rs 5 lakh as compensation for a botched 2004 surgical procedure throughout which a 3.2cm surgical needle was left behind in her backbone, experiences Vindhya Pabolu.

The Karnataka State Shopper Disputes Redressal Fee has requested Deepak Hospital and the 2 medical doctors to pay Padmavathi Rs 50,000 as litigation prices.
