AGRA: 4 every day wage labourers have been arrested for allegedly waving the Palestinian flag throughout a Muharram procession in Agra Saturday. A lawyer at Allahabad HC mentioned waving the Palestine flag, with which “India has pleasant relations, isn’t against the law.” He mentioned, “Delhi has a Palestine embassy, and merely waving a flag doesn’t represent against the law. Even when cops discovered the act might need incited violence, imposing a piece regarding nationwide integration is wrong,” the lawyer mentioned.
On Friday, CPI(M) demanded that instances towards those that waved Palestinian flags throughout Muharram processions be withdrawn and requested the BJP-led govt to “unequivocally” categorical solidarity with Palestine.
