Vedanta group agency Hindustan Zinc Ltd on Tuesday (August 20, 2024) mentioned its board has permitted the second interim dividend of ₹19 per share for the present monetary 12 months amounting to ₹8,028.11 crore.
The board gave the go-ahead in a gathering held on Tuesday.
“The board…has thought of and permitted the second interim dividend of ₹19 per fairness share i.e. 950% on face worth of ₹2 per fairness share for the monetary 12 months 2024-25 amounting to ₹8,028.11 crore,” Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL) mentioned in a submitting to BSE.
PTI had earlier reported that HZL is planning a particular dividend payout of ₹8,000 crore to its shareholders in FY25.
For FY24, HZL paid a complete dividend of ₹5,493 crore, with the federal government receiving ₹1,622 crore for its 29.5% stake within the firm.
In FY23, the corporate set a document by paying out a dividend of round ₹32,000 crore, with the federal government receiving a considerable ₹9,500 crore.
HZL has reported 19.3% rise in consolidated web revenue at ₹2,345 crore for June quarter FY25 as a consequence of increased EBITDA. The corporate had posted a web revenue of ₹1,964 crore for the year-ago interval.
Revenue rose to ₹8,398 crore from ₹7,564 crore within the year-ago interval.
Hindustan Zinc Ltd is the world’s second-largest built-in zinc producer and the third-largest silver producer. The corporate provides to greater than 40 nations and holds a market share of about 75% of the first zinc market in India.
